THE WAY OF THE SHANKS
Our forefathers have written that with the passing of the ages our weak human kinfolk have been victimized by the pagan races, namely gnolls, orcs and goblins. From the abduction of the womenfolk half-breeds have risen. These half-breeds are short and frail, and often have odd colored skin or funny pointed ears. They see well in the dark and breed like wolly spiderlings. Slowly these mutants developed speech and mannerisms so that they may blend in and further infect our bloodlines. At all costs, this degradation of our race must be halted; these pagan half-breeds must be slain. At any time when an intruder half-breed is spotted in Shank territory, it must be cleansed. Once one is sighted, a “Call to War” must be sent to all other Shanks within a zones distance. Those Shanks must immediately come to the aid of their comrade, who will stalk the victim if they seem fierce or will strike if they look weak. Once a large enough force is assembled then the mutant must be slain at all costs. It is the future of our peoples at stake and no mercy must be shown. Over the years, our forefathers have written 10 laws by which all Shanks must be held. Any Shank observed violating such law will be dealt with at the Contest of Blood.
